I'm getting back on the comic bandwagon. Trying to get out of the tentacle imagery, which means I've turned to bugs and spiders. With this one, I tried to break the expectation of October being spooky/ dark/ Victorian/ American. Yes, October has Halloween, but it can sybolism alot more. If a Septemberist eagerly awaits the end, then an Octoberist eagerly plans for the end.
I've realized that an apocalypse isn't actually the end of the world. It's the moment right before the end. Because, by definition, no one can actually 'experience' the end of the world. Unless, they didn't live in the world to begin with or somehow were impervious to the ending of said world. Then, it really wouldn't be the end of the world, or not their's. Since, anything of the world should not be stronger than the world they live in.
Offices are spooky. |
